A rich and indulgent Butter Pecan Poke Cake made with butter pecan cake mix, sweetened condensed milk, Heath toffee bits, roasted pecans, and topped with Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream. This cake is perfect for any occasion and tastes even better after chilling in the fridge!

Instructions

1: Bake a butter pecan box cake mix according to package instructions. (you may swap vegetable oil for avocado oil if desired). 

2: Bake cake according to package directions. 

3: Remove the cake from the oven and pour sweetened condensed milk over it (heated for about 45 seconds).

4: Toast pecans. 

5: Sprinkle about 1/2 bag of Heath toffee bits and 1/2 cup of chopped toasted pecans over the cake.

6: Allow the cake to completely cool.

6: Frost with Cool Whip or make whipped topping with 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

7: Sprinkle remaining Heath bits and pecans on top.

8: Cover tightly and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
